This post is in no way a negative entry. Take note.
Everyday, I tend to see people making wishes at 11:11am/pm, and when some of them missed it by a minute or two, they'd be like, "Damn! I missed 11:11!! T.T" and it in a way amuses me. Heh.
Ok that's beside the point of this post.
I don't believe in this 11:11 thing. I once read Louis' fb post saying that he doesn't need 11:11 because he has God, and I had to like that post so much because I was 100% with it! I have God, and because of that fact, I don't need to believe in 11:11.
Of course, this doesn't mean that people who believe in God, whether they are Christian-Catholic or not, do or should not believe in 11:11.
The thing that I like about this 11:11 wishing theory, is that when people wish, they see hope in good things happening. I mean, who doesn't wish for good things right? Of course the wishes that "my life would end" or "he/she will die" are just plain evil and ridiculous, but most people will wish for good things like good results or good relationships or world peace, etc. The worst is when people make a wish and end with, "Oh but I think it won't come true" or "..but it won't come true at all" (aside from the jokers and trolls, heh). Like, why bother making a wish when you have no hope in it at all? Ironic!
I don't know if it's right, but that's what I feel.
However, on 111111 (11 November 2011), an especially significant date for most 11:11 people, and just a cool repeated number kind of date for people like me (heh), I decided to make a wish at 11:11pm.
I just felt like, it felt special. 111111, 11:11. It was damn cool. Hahaha.
So I made a wish anyway. But not just any wish. I made a wish in God's name. So it was kinda like a prayer in the end, but I started it with "I wish", of course, to go with the 11:11 wishing theory. :)
When I opened my eyes, I was quite overwhelmed with hope, that this 'wish' would come true. Hmm, who knows? God does. ;)
Well, yeah. I just really felt this urge to blog about this. This is to all those who made their wishes on 11:11, whether for fun or with much hope and faith, that their wishes will come true! :)
