So don't let me go, - Sunday, September 25, 2011
Yesterday was Dom's wedding. Geez, I actually wrote 'birthday' at first. -___-
It's interesting to see a friend get married, and be filled with pure joy, and to be so blessed by God. Usually, I'd grin a lot when the wedded couple is announce, after the mass/service, but yesterday was different. I was smiling more than ever, because this time, I actually knew one of them, being the groom.
I wonder what my future's going to be like. What??
Who's going to be in my future, to share it with me?
I'm so curious, but I'll never know.
Don't know what God has planned for me, but I believe in Him, and I believe He has planned a future that works for me, come what may.
Oh, right, I wanted to quote the back page of Dom's wedding booklet, but we had to return it. Sad. No link to me though, but it was pretty nice, something to do with 'marrying my best friend', haha. But then again, not everyone marries their best friend, right (of course, best friend of the opposite gender)?
People say it is impossible to have a best friend kind of relationship between a boy and a girl, but I don't think it is completely true.. I just dislike it when a person's bf/gf totally doesn't trust him/her and is against them having a best friend who is of the opposite gender. I think if best friends had feelings for each other, it'd be pretty obvious. It wouldn't be the same, I believe.
Haha, okay I'm totally sidetracking.
Okay, onto another topic.
Realized more and more people these days are privating their blogs, Facebook (some do!), Twitter, etc..
Social networking sites and online journals..
I admit I also private my Twitter and hide most of my information on Fb for people who view my profile without adding me for gkw.
But it's increasingly noticeable.
Are we becoming more private in our lives? Or, is every later generation of humans getting more and more private? When I was in lower sec, nothing was really private. In fact, I only had Facebook near the end of secondary 1. Nowadays, people have Facebook at like what, primary 5? 6? It's not even the age limit to join the social networking site in the first place, lol.
Talking about the young getting what my generation is getting only at around 2, 3 years after their age, it just isn't surprising anymore to see primary school kids holding iPhones, iPads, etc. Wouldn't be surprised even if a kid had a Galaxy Tab in his bag (which I still think is a really stupid and redundant phone), to show it off to the less fortunate classmates.
Sigh.
I'm about to go on again.
Resist.
Haha.
Okay, not gonna go further.
Hmm, I think I shall end here.
I know, so abrupt right? Hahaha..
...
How beautiful the radiant bride
Who waits for her groom with His light in her eyes
How beautiful when humble hearts give
The fruit of pure lives so that others may live
